GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Financial Business Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining monthly and quarterly financial reports for various groups. Provide content and analysis of projects relating to multiple parts of the business (sales, costs, customers, markets, etc…).  Special projects as needed.   

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a liaison between the Accounting and Sales departments to develop a variety of reports and meet company reporting deadlines
  • Database management in both Excel and Access to include planning, implementing, testing and queries
  • Monthly and quarterly shipping analysis and reporting
  • Track open quotes and distribute information to North American Sales Team
  • Assist accounting and sales in program tracking
  • Track margins at order entry and coordinate with Sales Team
  • Provide analysis and complete special projects to aid in sales optimization
  • Complete customer specific certifications and forms

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel to manage databases and utilize lookups, index/match and pivot tables.
  • Capable of managing Microsoft Access applications linked to external databases.
  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements. Exposure to manufacturing a plus.
  • Exceptional people skills; working with various levels within the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities at the same time
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow through
  • Responsiveness to deadlines and timelines
  • Ability to develop and support execution of change management activities

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related Marketing, Business or Financial discipline required
  • One to two years’ work experience collecting and documenting system requirements and business processes
  • U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status)
